How to score yourself#

The BACB RBT Handbook states that all scored questions are equally weighted and that the result is based on overall performance, not domain-by-domain performance. Use the table below as a study report, not as a BACB passing rule.

If you see 75, that is the scored-question count. The RBT Handbook says the current exam includes 85 multiple-choice questions, made up of 75 scored questions and 10 unscored questions.

Is the RBT exam online?

No. The RBT Handbook says the exam is in person at authorized Pearson VUE testing sites and US military bases. Use timed practice for pacing, but do not plan for at-home testing.

How should I use a low mock score?

Treat a low score as a study signal. Sort misses by TCO task, study the largest cluster first, then take a different practice set rather than memorizing this one.
