RBT Practice is exam prep for people studying for the Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) exam: career changers, new ABA technicians and anyone who needs to pass the exam once and get back to work with clients.

What we make

The RBT Practice website has 365 curated practice questions, 12 timed mock forms of 85 questions in 90 minutes, each built from a shared bank to the exam blueprint, 58 short lessons and 600 flashcards. It runs in any modern browser. Separate apps are available for iPhone, iPad and Android.

The core idea is simple: a practice question is only useful if you understand why each option is right or wrong. Every question has a rationale for all four options and a one-line exam takeaway.

How we write and check these guides

  • Sources read in full

Every exam fact comes from the BACB's own documents: the RBT Handbook (updated June 2026), the RBT Test Content Outline (3rd ed.), the 2026 40-hour training requirements, the Initial Competency Assessment packet and the RBT Ethics Code (2.0). The PDFs are downloaded from bacb.com and read as full text, not as summaries. No third-party site is used for a factual claim.

  • Checked line by line, with a date

We draft guides, questions and explanations with AI writing tools. Each guide is then checked against those documents before it is published, and every figure is traced to the document and page it came from. Wording that could not be verified is removed or hedged. This content has not been reviewed by a BCBA, so treat it as study support and defer to your supervisor and the BACB. The date of the last full check is shown as "Last checked" at the top of every guide, and each guide ends with the exact BACB documents it used.

  • Original questions

Questions, rationales, lessons and flashcards are written for RBT Practice from the outline, and each question is tagged with the task it covers, from A.1 to F.10. Nothing is a recalled, leaked or previously administered exam question; the BACB prohibits sharing exam content. The website has 365 curated practice questions. We consolidated generated wording variants and added independently verified article questions. Earlier variants are retained only for reviewing or finishing saved attempts. Our 12 timed mock forms use this shared bank and may overlap between forms. New exams are labeled “2026 practice edition”; your history ranks only your own actual attempts.

  • Independent of the BACB

RBT Practice is an independent study tool, not affiliated with or endorsed by the BACB. “RBT” and “BACB” are trademarks of the Behavior Analyst Certification Board. Content is aligned to the 2026 RBT Test Content Outline (3rd edition). A practice score is a study signal, not a prediction: the 80% readiness target in the app is our study goal, not a BACB passing score.

  • Kept up to date

When the BACB publishes a new handbook, outline or fee change, the affected guides are checked again and their "Last checked" date changes.

  • Tell us what is wrong
